Recognising the value of partnerships in making progress towards open, diverse and inclusive societies, the British Council and Migration Policy Group (MPG) have been working together as lead partners on the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) since 2004.
In aligning skills and resources, the MIPEX partnership aims to widen and inform European debates on how our policies and laws can promote the integration of our societies.
With considerable experience of policy development in the field of migration and mobility, equality and diversity, and with privileged links to expert networks, MPG leads on the data-gathering and analysis for MIPEX. The British Council - a global organisation and world authority on cultural relations - extends both the reach and impact of the project, engaging its expertise in cross-national initiatives and mobilising its country offices across Europe to promote MIPEX.
The two organisations draw together and lead a strong network of national partners, from equality bodies to foundations, NGOs, and research organisations, who use MIPEX as both a focal point for the network and a tool for action
